Eastchester Woman Found Dead on I-95 in CT
Police were called to the scene Monday night after getting reports of a pedestrian in the roadway.
EASTCHESTER, NY — An Westchester woman was found dead Monday night on I-95 northbound past exit 9 in Stamford, CT, police said. State Police identified the woman as Harriet Okura, 59, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Police were called around 10:17 p.m. to the scene after callers reported seeing a pedestrian laying in the roadway. Multiple lanes were closed for two hours Monday night while police investigated.
The investigation remains active.
