Marco Mattiacci, President & CEO of Ferrari North America to Speak at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center

Event is a Precursor to the Concorso d’Eleganza Car Show on October 2, featuring the world’s most luxurious automobiles
Mattiacci to Speak about Ferrari’s Strategy in North America
(Tuckahoe, NY) – Ferraris are among the world’s most luxurious automobiles; the price one pays for their expert craftsmanship and customization is in the stratosphere – usually between $200,000 and $250,000. “But it could be higher,” said Marco Mattiacci, President and CEO of Ferrari North America, during a recent television interview. Is there less of an appetite for such a luxury item in this sour economy? “Not at all,” according to Mattiacci, who was appointed CEO of Ferrari North America, Inc. in January 2010. “Quality is always in demand, and people do pay for quality.” To maintain their high standards, Ferrari says the company invests 18% of their annual revenue in research and development. That’s just one of the secrets to Ferrari’s business success. There are more and Mattiacci will speak about them at a special event hosted by the Westchester Italian Business Circle, on Monday, September 19th at 6:30 pm. His appearance is a precursor to the Westchester Concorso d’Eleganza (www.wiccautoshow.com), a spectacular car show in celebration of Italian style, art, and engineering, which will be held on Sunday, October 2nd from 11am – 5pm, at Depot Square in Tuckahoe, New York. There will be Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis on view as well as other luxury automobiles.
