Japanese Storytelling Workshop with Hiroko Fujita

Renowned Japanese storyteller and educator, Hiroko Fujita, will weave her magical stories in a special afternoon workshop for Japanese children and their parents held at the Eastchester Public Library.  Fujita-san was born in Tokyo but grew up in rural Fukushima Prefecture, where she listened to and collected traditional Japanese folk tales and stories over a 40 year period.  She travels throughout the world making her stories come alive, as a national storyteller extraordinaire.
