The Pop-Up Art Show is a one-night exhibition of young adult artists from the tri-state area representing painting, drawing, photography and 3D work. The show aims to bring new and different art to the town of Bronxville and to show this group of artists works in a public venue. The artists represented are young adults, recent college graduate and working artists emerging into the art world. The show stands within the tradition of “First Fridays,” a national phenomenon of gallery walks and tours on the first Friday of the month. I am a rising senior at Bates College studying art history and pursuing a career in the arts. This is my first curated show. The space is of importance, as the show will be held in an empty storefront that was graciously donated by Admiral Real Estate services.
