Fight Between 2 Yonkers Firefighters Draws Police Investigation

The fight between the two senior members occurred during the department's recent holiday party.

Two senior members of the Yonkers Fire Department got into a physical fight Friday night at the department’s annual holiday party, and local police are investigating the dust up.

News 12 reports that Fire Commissioner John Darcy and Lt. Michael O’Connor were the two combatants, and afterward O’Connor required a visit to Northern Westchester Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The fight took place at The Fairways at Dunwoodie in Yonkers. Details of the incident and how it started were not immediately available.
