Firefighters Injured, Residents Displaced in Yonkers Fire
The blaze occurred Monday on Palisade Avenue.

Eight firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a Monday night in an apartment building fire on Palisade Avenue in Yonkers, according to Kempter’s Fire Wire and The Journal News.
The fire started at about 10:45 p.m. in a second floor bedroom, and no other injuries were reported.
Five adults an a child lived in the apartment and will require temporary housing, according to the Red Cross.
