Flash Flood Watch Issued For Southern Westchester

Heavy rainfall from showers and thunderstorms will result in urban and poor drainage flooding.

SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — A flash flood watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for southern Westchester County. It is in effect from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Heavy rainfall from showers and thunderstorms will result in urban and poor drainage flooding.

Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible with some of these storms, the NWS said.
