Frost Advisory Issued for Southern Westchester County

The advisory means that frost is expected to occur, the National Weather Service said.

BRONXVILLE, NY — Temperatures dropping to the mid- to upper-30s overnight Monday have caused the National Weather Service to issue a frost advisory for parts of southeastern New York.

The advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. Tuesday for southern Westchester County.

Growing season is still active in this part of the county so sensitive outdoor plants should be protected, the NWS said.
