Gramatan Village Executive Director To Step Down

A farewell party has been scheduled and the community is invited.

From Gramatan Village: Gramatan Village has announced that Executive Director, Julie Dalton, will be departing the organization to become Executive Director of Riverdale Senior Services. As a result, Gramatan Village has initiated a search for a new Executive Director. The job description and more information on this position can be found at www.gramatanvillage.org.

To honor Julie for her outstanding contributions over the past ten years, the Board of Directors will be hosting a farewell party on Wednesday June 20, 2018, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Ernie’s Wine Bar. Julie has been with Gramatan Village since its inception and has positioned the organization as a leader in The National Village Movement. This is only one of her many accomplishments as Gramatan Village has grown into a trusted and valued part of our community, supporting aging-in-place with programs and services that empower members to remain in their homes, living vibrant, active, and healthy lives. “Julie’s departure is bittersweet!” said Kerry Walsh, President of Gramatan Village. “We will miss Julie, but we are thrilled for her as her new job is a positive move both professionally and personally. We hope you will join us to wish Julie farewell and best wishes.”

Kathryn Urbina, Director of Member Services & Programs, and the Gramatan Village network of dedicated volunteers will continue to provide a continuum of services for members while the search for a new Executive Director is underway. Gramatan Village is a membership organization that engages community residents who want to remain in the home and neighborhood they love. It provides a network of volunteers, community partnerships, and peer connections that enable members to stay independent and fully engaged in the community.
