ID Of Man Struck By Train Released
The incident occurred at the Fleetwood Station in Mount Vernon.

BRONXVILLE, NY — The identity of the man struck and killed by a Metro-North train Monday, Feb. 11 in Mount Vernon has been released. Jeffery Cooney, 60, of Bronxville, was struck by the train while he was on the tracks of the Fleetwood station.
A spokesperson for Metro-North said the investigation into the incident found that it was not criminal in nature or accidental, the Daily Voice said.
The train was northbound on the Harlem Line.
