It's 'Curtains!' Time: A Musical Mystery Now On Stage In Bronxville

BRONXVILLE, NY — The curtain will open soon on "Curtains!" as talented Bronxville High School students bring the musical murder mystery to life.

Under the guidance of Pamela Simpson, the students promise to entertain audiences with humor, suspense, dazzling song and dance numbers reminiscent of golden-age musicals and perhaps, (no spoilers) a twist or two along the way.

The show, billed as a musical-theater parody of a whodunnit classic, will transport audiences to 1959, when a very untalented leading lady mysteriously dies on stage during a Broadway-bound musical’s opening night. Frank Cioffi, a fast-talking, theater-loving detective, investigates the murder, while the cast and crew are all suspects.

"Curtains!" is both a musical and murder mystery wrapped into one delightful show that will keep audiences laughing and guessing until the very last number, according to the cast and crew.

As long as there are no more unexplained deaths, performances are scheduled take place on Friday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Bronxville High School auditorium. Tickets will be available for purchase online or at the door on the evenings of the show.
