Sunday Series: Keeping Watch Over Crestwood
A look through the lens of Bronxville-based photographer Jay Wilson.

Welcome to Sunday Series, a photographic look at Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Eastchester through the lens of Bronxville-based photographer Jay Wilson. Every week, we'll post a new photo, taken by Wilson, depicting life in the three communities.
August 29: Last week, I walked from our place in Bronxville up and over the hill into Tuckahoe, and then north along Columbus until I hit Crestwood Station. Although I'd like to say this hike was just part of my regimented workout routine, the fact is that I was on the hunt for a glimpse of the recently-launched Tuckahoe Trolley. Although I had seen it here on Patch, I had yet to glimpse the Trolley in person. It seemed perhaps as elusive as our local coyotes.

Speaking of coyotes —there haven't been any sightings in Tuckahoe, have there? And here, perhaps, is why. A big stuffed bear keeps watch on the Crestwood neighborhood in front of the consignment shop on Columbus Ave.
