Lane Closures on Hutchinson River Parkway Scheduled for May 14-15

Lane closures are scheduled for the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound on Thursday and Friday, May 14-15, according to the state Department of Transportation.

On Thursday, the northbound right lane from Exit 14 (Pelhamdale Avenue) to Exit 16 (Webster Avenue) will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

On Friday, May 15, the northbound right lane from Exit 21 (Route 125/Weaver Street) to Exit 22 (Mamaroneck Road) will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Drivers may experience delays during those hours.

Additionally, motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone, and in accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
