Literary Forum Debuts at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville

Writers will read briefly from their own work.

A literary forum called "650" is coming to Sarah Lawrence College to be hosted by The Writing Institute.

The program will debut at the college's Bronxville campus on Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 2 to 5 p.m. and will be followed by a wine and cheese party and "Make New Friends Reception."

Writers will read briefly from their own work. Readings will typically be about 650 words long with each talk running five minutes or less.

Pat Dunn, the Director of The Writing Institute, said, "650 is Where Writers Read; the program celebrates the spoken word with live staged events in New York City featuring a dozen pre-selected writers."

"Join us for our first Writing Institute and 650 live event," she added.

Writers from The Writing Institute 's community including newcomers will speak. A $12 contribution will help cover program expenses.
