Local Filmmaker's Latest in Theaters Today

The Art of Getting By stars Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore—but it's one of the producers that gives Westchester film buffs a thrill: Gia Walsh, a Bronxville native.

Walsh got her first producer credit in 2009 with The Winning Season. It also starred Roberts, opposite Sam Rockwell.

The Art of Getting By opens June 17 in four Westchester theaters: New Roc City, City Center White Plains, Saw Mill Multiplex and Loews Port Chester.
