Man to Get 5th Trial for 1996 Eastchester Murders
Selwyn Days has maintained his innocence; his conviction was overturned in September.
There will be a fifth trial for a Mount Vernon man who has maintained his innocence for two 1996 Eastchester murders.
Selwyn Days, 51, who served 15 years in prison for the murders, will be getting another chance to fight for his freedom, lohud.com said.
Days was convicted in October 2011 of two counts of felony second-degree murder.

The bodies of Archie Harris and Betty Ramcharan were discovered on Nov. 21, 1996, at 4 Berkley Circle in Eastchester.
Days was not arrested until February 2001, and was sentenced to two consecutive 25-year terms in state prison.
