At the republican at the end of January, Marvin made a few comments before receiving the official nomination.

โ€œWe have a great team, we enjoy working together...โ€ Marvin said, โ€œItโ€™s a huge responsibility and I have to say we might not always make every decision that everyone loves but we sure can tell you we spend a lot of time and really take our duties seriously.โ€

As of about 6 p.m. at the polls at village hall today, election inspector Thomas Andruss called the turnout โ€œlight,โ€ noting that itโ€™s not an unusual situation in an uncontested election.ย

Residents who did cast their ballot in the election voted on the as opposed to the ย ImageCast optical scan voting machinesย used in this past Novemberโ€™s election.

Andruss said voters were โ€œvery happy that the old machines are back.โ€ย
