MaryAnne Denniston Named to Board of Directors of Bronxville's Gramatan Village

Denniston established The Denniston Group, which provides interim human resources consulting services.

MaryAnne Denniston was elected to the Gramatan Village Board of Directors at their January meeting.

“MaryAnne brings her many personal and professional talents to Gramatan Village,” said Kerry Walsh, President of the Board. “She firmly believes in our mission, to help older adults in our area continue to live safely and confidently at home, and is committed to raising our visibility throughout the Bronxville community. We are thrilled to have her expertise on our Board, especially now as our membership is growing.”

MaryAnne has a diverse background that includes consulting, financial services, technology, healthcare, and not-for-profit experience. The Denniston Group, formed in 1989, provides interim human resources consulting services, often with an emphasis on strategic staffing and career management, to both public and private companies. Prior to establishing the Denniston Group, MaryAnne was a vice president at Handy Associates, a human resource consulting firm specializing in executive selection and compensation. She also served as a vice president, responsible for leading management recruiting, at Bankers Trust.

MaryAnne is a pro bono account director for the Taproot Foundation. As such, she leads teams of four or five pro bono consultants providing human resources service grants to high potential nonprofits in the New York metropolitan area. She has been a member of the development committee for Dominican Sisters Health Service, which provides community based, family focused, home health care. Additionally, she has served as vice chair of the Bronxville Adult School.

MaryAnne, who began her career with the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation, holds a masters degree from Fordham University.
