Mass to Honor Eastchester Officer Killed 20 Years Ago

A slain Eastchester police officer will be remembered tonight, March 21, on the 20-year anniversary of his death.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. to mark the death of Officer Michael Frey, according to an article in the Journal News.

The Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church, 53 Winter Hill Rd. in Tuckahoe.

Frey was killed March 21, 1996, as he got out of his patrol car responding to a report of a suspicious person.
