Matt Del Percio Joins the Board of Directors at Leake and Watts
'The Impact of Leake and Watts on Our Community is Truly Life Changing'

Yonkers, NY — Matt Del Percio, a principal and management consultant at Altman Vilandrie & Company, has joined the Board of Directors at Leake and Watts Services, Inc., the nonprofit agency’s CEO Alan Mucatel announced today.
Mr. Del Percio, a resident of Manhattan, is widely respected for his expertise in strategic planning, analytics, and technology. In addition to his impressive business background, Mr. DelPercio will bring to the Leake & Watts Board his devotion to the agency’s mission to support at-risk children, adults, and families.
“Matt is passionate about helping to lift the people and the communities we support,” noted Mr. Mucatel. “In today’s environment of shrinking government budgets and growing human service needs, his knowledge and experience will help Leake & Watts continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our 43 programs, including early childhood education, foster care, juvenile justice services, special education, and community residences for adults with developmental disabilities, to name only a few of the essential services we provide to more than 8,000 people daily in New York City and Westchester.”

Mr. Del Percio is a management committee member at Altman Vilandrie, a Boston-based firm focused exclusively on the telecom, media, and technology sectors. He advises both companies and private investors on a range of strategy, marketing, and technology-related issues as well as M&A opportunities. Mr. Del Percio earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management in May 2004.
“Leake & Watts is a truly special organization because of the way it helps children, adults, and families to overcome challenges and succeed. I have seen the impact of the services the organization provides, and they are truly life changing,” said Mr. Del Percio, the father of a young daughter and the son of a kindergarten teacher. He said he is particularly interested in Leake & Watts’ highly effective early childhood education services and its K-12 Biondi special education school for children who cannot learn in conventional environments.

“I want to get involved in the community in a way that makes a difference,” he said. “I look forward to my position on the Leake & Watts board to serve our community in a meaningful way.”

Founded as a Manhattan orphanage in 1831, Leake & Watts operates programs serving more than 8,000 children, adults, and families throughout New York City and Westchester County.
