Movie Theater Employee Fatally Stabbed Has Been ID'd

YONKERS, NY — The movie theater employee who was stabbed and later died of his wounds has been identified. Daij Asante Thomas, 19, was stabbed in the chest after a fight with an unidentified suspect at the Showcase Cinema De Lux at Ridge Hill in Yorkers, lohud.com said.

The man approached Thomas, a Yonkers resident, and a dispute happened and then the stabbing, police said.

Thomas may have known his attacker, who was described as about 20 years old, black, thin, male and about 6 feet tall.
