Movie Theater Stabbing Kills Employee In Yonkers

The victim may have known his attacker.

YONKERS, NY — A stabbing at a movie theater sent one man to the hospital with a fatal wound early Saturday. The incident occurred in the lobby of the Showcase Cinema De Lux at Ridge Hill in Yonkers around 12:45 a.m., FIOS1 News said.

An employee of the theater was killed as a result of the stabbing, FIOS1 News said, with the suspect being described as about 20 years old, black, thin, male and about 6 feet tall.

The employee was a Yonkers resident and may have known his attacker.

News 12.com said the stabbing happened as a movie was ending and many patrons didn’t know anything had occurred as they left the theater.
