NYP/Lawrence to Host A Discussion on Minimally Invasive Women's Healthcare

Meet Dr. Michael Pitter, Director of Robotic Surgery at NYP/Lawrence.

According to Healthy Women Magazine, “… an estimated 4 to 25 percent of women have chronic pelvic pain, but only about a third of them seek medical care. It is also one of the most common reasons American women see a physician, accounting for 10 percent of gynecologic office visits, up to 40 percent of laparoscopies and 20 percent of hysterectomies in the United States”.

Join Dr. Michael Pitter, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at NYP/Lawrence and Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, for a discussion on pelvic pain and the latest minimally invasive treatment options, including robotic surgery on Thursday, June 18 from 7 to 8:30pm in NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital’s Palmer Hall third floor conference room.

Light refreshments will be served. This event is free, so bring a friend. For more information, call (914) 787-1034. To join NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital’s Women’s Health Network, please call 1-855-769-6636 or visit www.nyp.org/lawrence.
