Passerby Pulls Driver from Burning Car on Saw Mill River Parkway
The crash occurred early Friday in Yonkers.
A driver and a passerby suffered minor injuries early Friday after a car crashed and burst into flames on Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers, according to county police.
The Journal News reports the accident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. northbound near the Tuckahoe Road exit.
After the crash, the passerby pulled the driver from the burning car. The identities of the driver and passerby were not disclosed, and details of what caused the crash were not immediately available.
