Dog of the Week: Jacki
Breed: Doberman mix
Age: 1 year old

Bio: Jacki is a beautiful 1 year-old Doberman mix whose family could no longer keep and take care of. Jacki is a big girl, weighing about 70 pounds, and is very friendly. She likes almost every dog she has ever met at the Yonkers Animal Shelter, although she is afraid of the kittens and runs away from them! Because of her size, shelter workers think Jacki would be best served in a family with kids over 10, and does need some leash training as she has most likely never been walked in the past. Jacki would make a wonderful pet, and would really thrive with an active family. She has lots of energy and would love a big backyard to run around in and stretch her long legs!

Breed: Tabby
Age: 2 years old
Bio: Meet Toby the Tabby, a handsome 2 year-old fellow with beautiful stripe and circle markings. Toby is very friendly, shelter worker say, and as you can see loves to pose for pictures! Toby weighs about 9 pounds and would love for you to stop by the shelter to say hello!
