Paul Viggiano, Director of Marketing & Business Administration for A.G. Williams Painting Company, was one of 40 business professionals under the age of 40 recently honored by the Business Council of Westchester(BCW) in the atrium of 800 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook. The annual event, salutes a diverse and highly talented group representing an impressive array of Westchester’s best and brightest.

“Paul has played a major role in sustaining and expanding the prominent A.G. Williams brand. He is a strategic, growth-oriented professional who I’m proud to associate myself with.”, said Dan Lansen, Partner, Compufit.

Viggiano’s role at A.G. Williams has spanned almost two decades and has included a diverse range of roles. Although his current title is Director of Business Administration & Marketing, he wears many hats for the company including Estimator and Project Manager. He specializes in nurturing residential and commercial accounts and is known for his attention to detail on projects both large or small.

“These exemplary young professionals have distinguished themselves through their talent, determination, leadership and commitment to the Westchester business community.” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon. “Their initiative, innovation and drive to succeed have gone a long way toward ensuring that Westchester remains the smartest county in the United States.”

Viggiano, a Yonkers native who currently resides in Scarsdale, NY has been with A.G. Williams Painting Company for over 17 years. He is a key component to the company’s success and also the driving force behind the company’s community involvement and charitable initiatives. He also devotes time to the community serving as the Head Coach for both Varsity Ice Hockey and Girls Lacrosse at New Rochelle High School. Paul not only enjoys his free time coaching young athletes, but also playing hockey.

Said Eon Nichols, Partner at Cuddy & Feder, a 2013 Rising Star Alum and Chair of the Rising Stars, “Selecting from among the most talented young individuals in Westchester was no easy feat. We provide opportunities for civic engagement, business education, community service, and social and cultural activities throughout the year.”

The Rising Stars program is modeled after the national business recognition program “40 under 40.” Rising Stars honorees were chosen based on professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments, professional and/or business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills.

In his free time, Viggiano is an avid coach, citing it as his most cherished hobby and something that builds character and offers life-long lessons. “I enjoy teaching young student athletes important life lessons such as discipline, work ethic, punctuality, competition and teamwork through sports.”

In talking about his own success, Viggiano quoted, soccer player Pele, often referred to as the greatest football player of all time. Pele believes “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” Viggiano has kept this philosophy close to his heart as he has grown with his position at A.G. Williams, channeling his own love of his work and interest in always bettering his game into every campaign, project and pitch.
