Police: Bronxville Man Crashed Car While Driving Drunk

A Bronxville man was arrested and charged for felony DWI Monday.

State police said Andrew S. Martin, 29, was intoxicated when he crashed his car on the Sprain Brook Parkway.

Martin was charged with driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.

The felony DWI charge was leveled against Martin because he had two previous DWI-related convictions with the last 10 years.

He was arraigned in the Town of Greenburgh Justice Court and sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond

Martin is scheduled to appear in court next on Jan. 5.
