Possible Con Ed Scam Going Around Eastchester
A senior resident was solicited for information by someone saying they were a Con Edison employee.

EASTCHESTER, NY — Eastchester homeowners are being warned by police that a scam is going around involving a possibly phony Con Ed employee. The Eastchester Police Department received a report of someone claiming to be a Con Ed representative asking a senior about a reduction of their energy bill.
Police wanted people to know that if they encounter someone suspicious under those circumstances they should not share any information, the Daily Voice said. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
