Former Police Commissioner Carried Handgun Without Permit
The incident took place at Kensico Dam Plaza Thursday.

Police took a handgun from former Mount Vernon Police Commissioner Terrance Raynor who they said was being carried without a permit allegedly.
The gun was discovered while police talked to Raynor at Kensico Dam Plaza Thursday, according to lohud.com.
Law enforcement was responding to an altercation at the plaza.
