Sarah Lawrence College's Writing School to Hold Open House and Readings

Program to include faculty readings is planned for Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Bronxville campus.

An open house and faculty reading will be held by The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Prospective and current students are invited to attend, said Patricia Dunn, Director of The Writing Institute and Assistant Dean, Graduate and Professional Studies. The readings will begin at 7 p.m.

Staff instructors will be available at this gathering to describe the spring semester courses at The Bronxville campus. Novel and nonfiction classes include dialogue writing, memoir writing, writing for children and young adults, story mapping, writing for stage and screen, overcoming writer’s block, magazine article writing, writing poetry, and book promotion.

A few classes will also be available at the Scarsdale Public Library.
