Shake Shack to Open First Westchester Location Friday
There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony prior to the restaurant opening to the public.
Westchester County’s first Shake Shack will open its doors Friday, July 22 at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:45 a.m., followed by the restaurant opening to the public at 11 a.m.

Shake Shack will be located in a new retail space on the northern side of the property, facing the Cross County Parkway, according to information provided by a spokeswoman.
The menu at Cross County will feature two exclusive frozen custard concretes: The Great White Way, which is vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce and crispy crunchies; and Cross County Crunch, made with vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, Mast Brothers Shake Shack dark chocolate chunks, chocolate toffee and malt powder.

Shake Shack will be donating 5 percent of sales of Cross County Crunch to Yonkers Partners in Education, which works to increase the number of Yonkers public school students who complete a post-secondary program.
A selection of local craft beers will be available, including Yonkers Brewing Company, Bronx Pale Ale and Southern Tier Brewing Company.
Appearing at the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Alexandra Valdes-Fauli, Shake Shack’s area director; Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano; Westchester Deputy County Executive Kevin Plunkett; and Liz Pollack, Cross County Shopping Center’s senior marketing manager.
