Speeding Stop on the Thruway Leads to DWI Charge

On August 2, 2015 at about 7:41 p.m., the New York State Police arrested Justin E. Gospodarec, 30, of Seaford, NY, for driving while intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped a 2010 Nissan on the Sprain Brook Parkway for speeding and making unsafe lane changes. When police interviewed the driver, identified as Gospodarec, they discovered that he was intoxicated at the time of the stop, police allege.

Gospodarec was issued traffic tickets returnable to the City of Yonkers Court on Aug. 13.
