Staff from Leake & Watts' Passage of Hope School Recognized for Excellence

Teacher and Aides at Passage of Hope School Receive Employee Excellence Award: Innovation

Leake & Watts, an award-winning nonprofit human services agency, presented staff from the Passage of Hope School with the Leake & Watts Employee Excellence Award: Innovation. Pictured Left to Right: Flora Garcia, teacher and resident of the Soundview neighborhood in the Bronx; Carmen Reyes, teacher’s aide and Cortlandt Manor resident; Oscar Davis, teacher’s aide and a resident of Brooklyn; and Karla Hernandez, a teacher’s aide who lives in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. Emiliah Burgos, a teacher's aide who resides in Yonkers, was also an award recipient. Leake & Watts has more than 1,300 employees and provides crucial support to more than 11,000 children, adults, and families throughout New York City and Westchester County.
