Suicide Victim from Crestwood Train Incident Identified

The man involved in the fatal incident at the Crestwood Metro-North Railroad train station earlier this week has been identified as Roosevelt Diggins, 61, a resident of 17 Beekman Ave in Mount Vernon. 

Eyewitnesses saw Diggins sitting on the tracks at around 12:21 p.m. on Wednesday, shortly before a train pulled into the station, striking and killing him. 

MTA police investigators have ruled Diggins' death a suicide.
