Sunday Series: Another Angel

A look through the lens of Bronxville-based photographer Jay Wilson.

Walking through town this morning, I came upon a woman laying flowers at the spot where Yonkers school administrator Sheryl Chasin was struck and killed on Thursday.

While our conversation was not on the record, we talked for a while, reflecting on the circumstances of the  tragedy and its aftermath, and how fleeting life can be.

I was touched by the note she left with the bouquet, signed by the children of Paideia School 15 in Yonkers. It expresses gratitude, and ends with "We will miss your smile."
