September 12: After four years living in Bronxville, I finally attended (at least part of) my first Broncos football game. What a scene. The crowd was alive, the uniforms shone, and Bronxville whipped Valhalla 44-0.

The start of football season heralds the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, of course. School is back in session, the leaves are beginning to fall, and the shelves at CVS and Value Drug are already stocked with Halloween candy.
After the unbearable heat and humidity of Summer 2010, I think we're all ready for the "R" months...

Jay Wilson is a fairly recent transplant to Bronxville, having moved here in 2006 after spending a decade living in Manhattan.
