Team Players: Michele Pagnotta and Pat Houlihan of Houlihan and O'Malley Real Estate Services in Bronxville

Talk about a dynamic duo! Realtors Michele Pagnotta and Pat Houlihan love working together. The pair are a close-knit team* at Houlihan & O’Malley Real Estate Services in Bronxville. The results they have achieved happen when two people work seamlessly together. “We are there 100 percent of the time for our clients ­– both home buyers and sellers,” according to Michele and Pat.

While their approach is to be very thorough and professional, the two say they also have fun working with their buyers and sellers. "Our clients are very engaged with us,” say Pat and Michele. “We often take them out for lunch, dinner, or a drink; it's a great way to relieve the stress of the process and connect. We really enjoy developing relationships with our clients and make a point of maintaining these relationships after the sale."

All fun aside, from the instant the duo take on a client they are fully vested in the entire process of buying or selling a home. They often meet to discuss what their clients' needs are and how they can be best met. To that point, they have developed and maintained strong relationships with many vendors, engineers, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate buyers’ and sellers’ needs. They have helped sellers by hosting estate sales to offset the cost of work needed to make a home market-ready and more appealing to potential buyers, and have also assisted in staging homes, grieving taxes, and sometimes even preventing a seller from short sale or foreclosure.

“We assist buyers and sellers in identifying any potentials issues before they arise. And, even after the home is sold, we’ll be there,” say the duo. “Whether it is relocating 2,000 bottles of wine or transporting priceless tropical plants – we will to do what it takes. We bring our clients to the closing with them feeling confident and knowledgeable.”

The two find they complement each other perfectly. Pat became a licensed real estate sales person in 2004 and has a dynamic personality and extensive experience with the local real estate markets. Michele, who joined the firm in 2009, quickly emerged as one of the top agents throughout Westchester County. She brings a calm to the equation with her designer’s eye as well as savvy business negotiating skills. The two have enjoyed consistent multi-million dollar years in residential sales.

Both Michele and Pat have large social networks. While Pat’s roots are in Riverdale, she raised five children in Bronxville and made lots of friends and connections in the process. Her husband, Jim, is a partner at Houlihan-Parnes Realtors. They are actively involved with Fordham University, the Irish Arts Center, and numerous other New York area charities. Michele’s broad circle of contacts stem from her prior business career as CEO of MeMe's Bridal Salon Inc. of Larchmont. She and her husband, Stephen, are raising two children and have made lasting friendships and connections at the Bronxville Reformed Church Nursery School, St. Joseph’s Elementary School, and, currently, the Tuckahoe School District. The couple keep themselves very busy and are actively involved with organizations such as Young at Arts at Christ Church Bronxville, the Tuckahoe School Board, and various other community groups, charities, and activities.
