Teen With Autism Disappears On Bike Trail: Yonkers Police

YONKERS, NEW YORK - Authorities are asking for help locating a missing teen who has autism.

Mel Harris, 15, was last seen Saturday, Aug. 5, near the bike trail off Saw Mill River Road in the area of Tuckahoe Road, police said.

When last seen, police said Harris was wearing blue glasses, blue Crocs, a white shirt and gray shorts.

He is described as a black boy who is 5 feet 1 inch tall and 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police were using K-9 officers to help search for Harris, who disappeared around 3:30 p.m., CBS New York reported.
