Think Local On #GivingTuesday

BRONXVILLE, NY — Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the shopping extravaganzas of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season. It's a time that many Bronxville and Eastchester residents focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Many local non-profits and charities offer opportunities for people to spread goodwill.

Volunteer New York! offers a holiday list of local donation drives, DIY volunteer projects and volunteer opportunities through December.

#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. #GivingTuesday wants to inspire people to take collective action to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, and help create a better world.
