Tuckahoe High School Football Team in Jeopardy, Report

The school barely had enough players to field a team this season.

The state’s 15th-ranked football team was in jeopardy of not having enough players this year, according to a report in The Journal News.

Tuckahoe High School, recently ranked 15th by MaxPreps, needed a hail mary to field a team, which delayed the hiring of coaches and purchasing equipment.

Schools Superintendent Dr. Barbara Nuzzi told The Journal News that the school system is behind the Tigers program, despite the nervousness among parents and players in recent weeks. “We support our football team as well as all our athletic programs.”
