United Water Westchester Updates Water Meters in Bronxville
National Metering Services has contracted with UWW to assist with the project, which began last year throughout the region.

Water meters throughout Bronxville currently are being upgraded as part of a United Water Westchester project, village officials announced.
National Metering Services was selected to assist UWW with updating more than 10,000 metered service points to a new system “that will enable us to capture customer readings more accurately and efficiently.”
Added village officials, “As we transition from quarterly billing to monthly billing, there was a huge scheduling effort started, which included several mailings as well as leaving cards, or ’cold calls,’ when technicians are working in the area. Their technicians should be able to provide identification and drive vehicles with their company logo, which hopefully will assure Village residents who may have safety concerns.”

Local customers are asked to contact National Metering Services to schedule an appointment “as this update will be beneficial. It will allow us to gather more data about water usage should there be leakage suspected, and overall improve billing by providing accurate, actual readings.”
