Unopened Beer Cans Tossed, Counterfeit $100 Bill, Foxes Fighting: Bronxville Police Blotter

BRONXVILLE, NY — Bronxville Police released their most recent list of blotter items, including a suspicious male wandering, a report of a counterfeit $100 bill and unopened beer cans tossed under a car. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]

  • July 2: A suspicious male was observed wandering from driveway to driveway on the village surveillance cameras. He fled the area before officers arrived.
  • July 3: A Park Place Starbucks employee reported that a man tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill and left the store with the fake currency when he was confronted. The incident is being investigated.
  • July 5: An officer observed a 19-year-old male teen throw a bag under a parked car on Parkway Road and flee through the back yard of a resident. The bag, which contained unopened beer cans, was recovered. The teen was identified and his parents were notified of the incident.
  • July 5: A homeowner reported that the walkway in front of his residence was damaged by a truck doing work in the area. A report was filed.
  • July 6: A caller reported what she believed to be foxes fighting with themselves or with another animal. Officers responded and were unable to locate any animals in distress.
