EASTCHESTER, NY — The 36-year Eastchester police veteran who apparently killed himself was laid to rest Monday.
The body of Richard Morris, 61, was found in Valhalla’s Gate of Heaven cemetery Wednesday, News 12 said.
Morris joined the department in 1978 and received many commendations and awards over the course of his career, including a medal for bravery, the Journal News said.
