Village Lutheran Church Youth Lead Service

Bronxville, NY- Sunday, May 1st was Youth Sunday at Village Lutheran Church. It was a total family worship service led by the young people of the congregation. Youths of all ages from elementary school to high school seniors participated in the services.

Youth Sunday is a yearly tradition at the Village Lutheran Church. The children had singing and instrumental solos, conducted the readings for the services and even gave the message for the Sunday sermon. High School senior Bobby Martin preached the message and was able to connect his audience to the readings. He discussed Jesus, comic books and superheroes. “It is always a beautiful service when the youth participate. They are such an integral part of our ministry,” state Rev. Scott Geminn, Associate Pastor, Village Lutheran Church.
