Volunteer Opportunity Of The Week: Fun For Cure, Inc.

Each week Patch will be highlighting a volunteer opportunity — or two or three — in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — in perhaps a way you didn't consider before.

This week we are putting the spotlight on Fun For Cure, Inc., a therapeutic program that provides "a motivating opportunity for children with special or medical needs and their families to get together for a unique and encouraging tennis experience."

The organization is looking for "energetic and positive volunteers to help and motivate the participants on the tennis court."

Fun For Cure needs volunteers for Saturdays in May. The minimum age is 13; with an adult, 12.
