Enjoy today, because the weekend forecast looks a little dicey in Westchester County.

There’s a cold front poised to mark an end to the midsummerlike warmth, said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist.

“A storm system will approach the Hudson Valley over the weekend,” says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather, “… and bring the potential for a substantial rain event by Sunday into Monday.”

Here’s the detailed forecast from the National Weather Service for communities around Westchester County:

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 80. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 80. South wind 6 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 70. Southwest wind around 8 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 54. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Monday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 64. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
