Westchester Community Seeks Code Enforcement Officer

The Village of Port Chester is looking for a Code Enforcement Officer, according to a post on CareerBuilder.

Base pay for the position is between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, and applicants must be high school graduates with at least six years of experience “in code enforcement/inspections activities for a public agency.”

According to the post, the village is looking for an “energetic professional to lead a small staff of inspectors and code enforcement personnel to administer a comprehensive code enforcement and housing inspection program to ensure the safety and well being of village residents by enforcing property maintenance and quality of life ordinances.”

A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following subjects, engineering, architecture or planning - or another closely related field - may be substituted for some of the experience requirement, according to officials.
