Westchester Man Charged In 2 Stalking Cases In Eastchester After Sex Solicitation Complaints
Cops say he approached women from a black Hyundai Elantra in confrontations in Bronxville Manor and a nearby neighborhood.

EASTCHESTER, NY — Eastchester police said a Yonkers man has been charged after two reported incidents in which a stranger approached and solicited women for sex while driving in town.
According to the department, officers received complaints on Friday and on Sunday. On both occasions, police said, the man approached the women while driving a black Hyundai Elantra with a New York license plate that was given to police.
The first incident happened in the Bronxville Manor neighborhood, where cops said the man was believed to have followed his target from a different location.

The second incident happened on Leewood Drive.
The suspect has now been identified as 20-year-old Christos G. Oommen, of Yonkers, according to the department. During the investigation, police found that similar incidents had occurred in neighboring jurisdictions.

On Monday, Oommen was apprehended and charged with two counts of fourth-degree stalking, according to police. The department said he is due to return to Eastchester Town Court on May 6.
The department asked residents to report any similar incidents involving Oommen to their local police department. Police did not release additional details about the neighboring cases or say whether any other charges are pending elsewhere.
