Yonkers Film Festival Events Feature Announcement Party, Drive-in Movie
A kick-off party for YoFiFest will announce the festival's lineup.

YONKERS, NY โ A kick-off party for the Yonkers Film Festival, or YoFiFest, will be held Friday, September 9 at Empire City Casino.
Organizers said the party, which will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., is where they will announce the films that will be screen at the festival in October.
Attendees will be able to mingle with some of the 2016 filmmakers and be the first to have access to VIP passes at a discounted price.

The kick-off evening includes beer and wine, savory and sweet small bites, music, dancing, bowling and tours of the casino, according to organizers.
The fourth annual YoFiFest will take place from October 16 to October 23. Tickets for the festival will go on sale September 10.

A free drive-in movie is scheduled for Friday, September 23 at Hudson Park in New Rochelle.
The New Rochelle Council on the Arts, in association with YoFiFest and the City of New Rochelle park department, is sponsoring the free event.
Drive-in viewing parking will be available for 80 cars, where the soundtrack can be listened to via the car radio, or people can sit on the grassy hill to watch the movie and listen via loudspeakers.
