Yonkers Man, 44, Accused of Unemployment Insurance Theft
The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by New York State Police and Department of Labor Special Investigation Division.

Richard C. Brooker, 44, of Yonkers was arrested on felony charges of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st Degree in connection with the alleged theft of more than $7,100 in unemployment insurance.
Brooker was arrested Monday following a joint investigation by the New York State Department of Labor Special Investigation Division and the state police.
Details of the case were not disclosed, but Brooker received the benefits “while gainfully employed,” according to state police.

He is scheduled to appear before the City of White Plains Court on Nov. 4 at 9 a.m.
